Following Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol visit to our Friendship Club last month, we were delighted to receive an invitation for some of the members of the Friendship Club to visit the office, sit in the famous chair and even try out the Gavel! The members who attended this visit had a lovely afternoon and were made to feel welcomed. One of the members said:
"It was really interesting seeing inside, seeing all the names of mayors engraved into the walls of the conference room and finding out who the First Lady mayor was.
And everyone enjoyed being able to sit in the mayors chair."
